ARIA Resort & Casino description

Sporting magnificent modern architecture and top-tier dining, entertainment, pool and spa options, ARIA stands tall as a hip resort in the heart of the Strip.

The vibe:

Modern, gleaming and chic. Luxury on all levels

What we love:

ARIA Las Vegas opened at the end of 2009 and it still has that new car smell. The rooms are a tech lover’s dream, featuring the latest gadgetry (keyless locks, personalized automation, etc.). Each room includes an in-room tablet where you’ll have one-touch control of lighting, temperature, draperies, music, in-room dining and more. Simply put, you’re the master of your domain at ARIA Las Vegas.

Open year-round, the pool area at ARIA is like something out of the Garden of Eden. Three ellipse-shaped pools are spread across a palm tree-laden deck.

Good to know:

There isn’t a bad room in the house. Since the price point is elevated here, why not just go all out and upgrade to one of the Sky Suites? With the one-bedroom penthouse, not only will you get postcard-worthy views and more flat-screen TVs than you’d find in an electronics store, but you’ll enjoy extras like limousine transport from the airport, a personal concierge and access to the private Sky Suites Lounge, where you can indulge in drinks (yes, this includes alcohol) and snacks all day and night long.

If you’re thinking of smoking in your room at ARIA, don’t. At checkout, you might find you’ve been hit with a $500-$1000 smoking restoration fee. Be aware that most of the resort’s rooms (98 percent of them, only a few high roller suites have been exempted) are nonsmoking, so the only places you’ll be able to light up are on the casino floor or in various bars.

Parking at ARIA seems more confusing than it really is. The only way to access this garage is by turning off the Strip onto Aria Place. Follow the signs (there is no light) as these will indicate where the left turnoff is to a long ramp that goes down into the garage. This feels trickier than it is because you don’t actually see the garage they guide you towards. Also a total bonus, their parking is free.

Now that we’ve blown your mind in terms of parking, we just want to add that ARIA is set way back from the Strip. Of course, most Vegas Strip resorts involve a walk to reach Las Vegas Boulevard, but this is one of the longer ones. To get to the Strip, you’ll have to go through The Shops at Crystals or walk along a series of shops parallel to City Center Place and take a pedestrian bridge across to The Shops at Crystals. Think of it as your workout to burn off those buffet calories.

Insider tips:

Be an art lover. ARIA’s got an impressive fine art collection, and you don’t have to pay a museum admission cost to view it. Several pieces dot the property’s indoor and outdoor public spaces. So spend the day exploring, it’s totally worth it.

Spend an afternoon at ARIA’s Spa & Salon. There are some seriously unique amenities in here including a Shio salt room (its salt-infused air improves both your breathing and skin) and Ganbanyoku heated stone beds, which are unbelievably soothing to your muscles.

Shortened visit
Superb hotel but closed down 2 days early due to corona and many facilities not running throughout. No refund or reply to my email from Vegas.com very very poor whereas the hotel itself was prompt and professional in dealing with resort fee refund

Everything was excellent about the hotel except for the fact that the room didn’t have a microwave or refrigerator.
The staff was great, the food was excellent, and the location was perfect. Outstanding all the way around.

Good but expensive
Mostly everything about Aria was positive. Sure, there was a long line to check-in originally. But that happens, what shouldn’t happen is their automated kiosk system – looks shiny and all, but works very poorly – if you check in a day late – it can’t check you in (they need some new IT people looks like). Concierge was helpful and quick. The rooms were nice and daily cleaned, great views, the place is clean, plenty of food choices.
The major downer was checking out – there’s a $50/day charge for… using the facilities we didn’t use (like gym, pool, WiFi… ok we did use WiFi, but $50/day? – a ripoff). Also there was a $600 refundable charge for using minibar selections. If you don’t use it – you get your money back. Seems a bit overpriced, but eventually you do get your money back, if you don’t use it (or difference in what you used vs not used).
I’d still recommend Aria, if you don’t have issues with things I mentioned. However, if you do – stay elsewhere and don’t believe Vegas.com’s ‘package’ savings deals – you’re actually paying more in the end.

Not as good i as i was hoping.
We been going to Bellagio for years, have used their ordinary rooms all the way to Presidential suite, This time we thought maybe we should try something new and we chose Aria, although Bellagio is way older than Aria, it still have upper hand on everything, We got a large suite at Aria but this room was half size of Bellagio suites, after getting off the lift we had to walk in a boring corridors for almost 10 minutes before getting to our room, one night we decided to try the Buffet, it was so bad which i don’t know how to describe, old foor, empty serving dishes, rude attendees… $260 for 4 person and we could get a much better food at Mcdonalds for less than $5, Even Casino and poker room is flooded with semi and full time professionals who are there to bully and take your money, They should not allow all this professional players players in while they know during holidays there are a lot of tourist in town who wants to have fun playing for couple of hours not getting tricked into some games where predators are all over the place and they are praying on them, it feels like bunch of Wolfs seating in a corner and waiting for flogs of lambes to arrive, i will go back to Bellagio from next time, they make you feel at home.

Underwhelming.
When we checked in the lady was very short and not warm and welcoming in any way, left a lot of the information out as if we were supposed to know everything already. If we asked a question she had an attitude so we just avoided asking more. We had to pay 30$/day for a refrigerator, which hardly got cold, and was half the size we are used to getting for free with normal hotel stays. No microwave, so any leftover food we had couldn’t be eaten unless we wanted it nearly frozen cold so that was another waste entirely. Our 40$/day credit was best used towards drinks/snacks, it wasn’t help towards the buffet. Which was about 100$ for dinner for two. We were unimpressed by the buffet. Only thing worth while was the prime rib. My husband tried a little bit of everything, he enjoyed their MINI desserts. We had a better buffet sadly at Paradise down on Fremont for 32$ and walked away happier there. My husband had trouble with getting lights in the room to work, I had to do everything after I figured it out. The tablet on the side table had to be covered cause it never shut off and was light a bright nightlight. I wish they had better signs in the hotel to find your way. As first timers it was huge and it took 2-3 days to figure out how to get to the strip efficiently without losing 20min finding out we left thru the wrong exit.
The pizza was excellent down stairs by their sports gambling, we enjoyed the setup for their sports gambling, their bathrooms in the casino and in the hotel rooms were nice. Unimpressed by service while gambling at slots, was served better at Casino Royale while gambling which was a bit of a shock.
Our room was located all the way at the end of the hall in the towers which was an extra walk in itself after getting to the elevators. The view was decent, able to see the strip and horizon somewhat.
Our pillows were far too fluffy and soft, had to really beat them to get comfortable.. some people are into that though. Room was covered in dust by the 2nd day and had our sinuses a little annoyed. I had to keep wiping down the desk and side tables by the bed.
Overall, I can see where they tried to go above and beyond. But in amenities. They fell short. I would of preferred a refrigerator and microwave over the high tech lighting, without having to pay the cost to purchase a new one to have it for my stay. Maybe a sleep mode on the tablet next to the bed. If their going to have a good night button by the bed to shut everything off, maybe a good morning button too. There was no coffee or coffee maker in the room, so we had to go down that looonggg hall, down the elevators, and to Starbucks or another place for coffee.
We aren’t interested in staying at that hotel again. The money we paid was mostly for location it felt like. We got hardly anything out of it. Some people are there to just gamble, but we wanted the whole experience and we were left feeling unimpressed.

Spectacular Classy Hotel
After the trip, I was so glad we had chosen the best hotel on the strip! Very classy, updated, new, and trendy. The location was on a very nice and clean area on the strip. There was easy access to the strip. The room had the best view, super comfortable pillows and bed, a wonderful hot shower, and beautiful furnishings.
I wish we had known Starbucks was on the second floor of the promenade. We did not even find that out until the last day of the trip. We had no idea there were shops in that area and the pool was also there. Would help if they let us know when we checked in. (Although they did give us a map).
The check in lines were a bit long…other than that, there were no complaints!
